School Introduction

Today I was a little bored, so I decided to give an update about my "wonderful" life. So here it is: a brand new post! Yeah!! The past two days there happened enough and I would like to share that with you. So, here we go...

Yesterday at 10:30 I had my first lesson of the day. I was introduced to my new mentor. The hour after that we got information about our chosen profile (package of subjects). In my case it went on the profile C&M and it was very informative and funny :P. We were told what we are going to do this trimester, and guess what? We will learn photography, we will visit many museums and in april we will go on a camp to London for a week! About the camp we must do a presentation in English. Jeej. Okay, for if you do not notice, that was pure sarcasm. But London is a super awesome city. So I have nothing to complain about. After the explanation we did a 'game' which meant we were going to make a tableau vivant from a famous fairy tale. We chose for Cinderella, so I did my shoe off.

After this game, I went with my class to go canoeing. The intention was to go canoeing for three quarters to the other side and three quarters to canoe back, but thankfully we (read: me and a few others) were as smart to go back. Because when we were canoening it, began to rain cats and dogs. The rest of the clas continued canoeing, but we were so cold and wet, that we decided to go home. At home I stood, I think, half an hour under a hot shower before I felt a little warmth again.

After that we went with the whole class to the pizzeria. That was pretty fun. But the workers of the restaurant asked us very often whether the pizzas are tasty. They do not see often such a large group of people in their restaurant, I think. So far my description of yesterday.

Hold on tight, because now comes the description of today. Today was actually meant to go to the beach in Scheveningen, to go surfing and power kiting, but that was cancelled because it was too windy and raining. So, after one hour of waiting at school the teachers came up with an alternative: the cinema. Which was not open yet, but especially for us he would be open earlier. So we went to the Watch, a movie about aliens. I would not recommend it, I think. After the movie we were allowed to go home.

And that was the end of my friday and also of the first week of school. Now I'm going to enjoy my weekend. CU!

School has begun

It is a week ago since the last time I posted. Time for a new post so. This time it's about school. Yesterday began my school after a long summer.

I'm in class H4C and I do the profile C&M, for those who do not know what this means: this stands for Cultuur & Maatschappij (= Culture & Society), and that means I have the subjects history, geography, German, French , Dutch, English, gym, religion, social studies and mathematics. That's quite a list, but now I have fewer subjects as in the third grade. Last year I also had biology, chemistry, physics and economics. Anyway, my first school day started nice and quiet. It started at 10:30 in the auditorium.

Once in the auditorium they began with an introductory speech. After that everyone went with their mentor to a classroom to meet each other. My mentor for the next two years gives Dutch and she's very nice. After this meeting we were taught according to schedule. First I had German and then history. In the German class we are only with 8: 1 boy and 7 girls. That's nice and quiet, hihi. The benefit is that we can ask more explanation from the teacher. In history, we have a group of about 20 students so that's something else. So far my first day of school.

Today I started at 9.20 with mathematics. Then I had history, English and German and then day 2 was over.

So far my first two days at school after summer. Soon I will tell you more about my life at school. How is your school? Let me know below!
