30 Days Challenge | FAIL

I'm so sorry. Shortly after my free period has started, I totally forgot to write some posts on my blog. Maybe a 30 days challenge is just too long for me, I don't know. Maybe I wil try it again at another time. Anyway, I need a time out, so I write nothing for a while. But, I hope to come back soon! I hope you will still follow me.

If I had a British accent...

There I am again. Maybe you have noticed it already, but the recent posts of me are written in English instead of Dutch. I was thinking about how to reach more followers, and because English is a beautyful language - I wish I have a British accent -  I choose to start writing my blogs in English. In the following days I will translate all of my older blogs to English too. I hope you like it!

Sinterklaas :D

Three days ago it was 'Pakjesavond' (= ''presents evening''), because it was the birthday of ''Sinterklaas'' (St Nicholas). In fact, the parents lie to their children, because there is no man who is called Sinterklaas. He died years ago, so the Dutch people buy all the presents for their kids. When I was young, I thought, of course, it was all real. When my parents told me, that it was fake, I just don't wanted to believe it. :D

I have to go now
See you later! :D

Within Temptation

Today it was raining very heavily here in Holland, so I decided to post something on my blog. My last post was long ago, because I did not have much time to write. But know I have time engouht, and I want to tell you something that's really cool. Next Sunday, the thirtieth, is my sixteenth birthday. And I get a super awesome gift from my parents. On november the 9th I go the very first time in my life to a concert of Within Temptation!! For those who do not know Within Temptation: it is a Dutch symphonic metal band. This year they celebrate their 15th jublieum with a great concert in Antwerp. Unfortunately I cannot go to Antwerp that day, but the 9th I do. Then I will go to the try-out show in Harlem. In the Netherlands Within Temptation is not known very well, however in Germany they are. Anyway, I am really looking forward to it, because I'm really hooked on their music. Want to know more about this band? Take a look at www.within-temptation.com!

Review: Nivea Soft Crème

I've been using for a while now this cream from Nivea, so I decided just for once to write a review about. I do not use so many Nivea products, but the handy size of this tube I found very useful, and so I bought it anyway.
You can put the tube easily into your handbag, which is less useful with a cream of a format like this:
When I open the tube, I smell a nice fragrance. When I put it on my skin, I feel my skin is almost immediately wonderfully soft. You can use this cream basically every day. I use the cream preferably in the evening before going to sleep on my face and hands.

This cream is a nice alternative for aftersun. It feels much better! This cream only costs 2.69 euros and can be purchased at the Kruidvat and Etos.

Which creams do you prefer? Leave a comment!

I'm still alive!!

Here's a update, just to let you know that I'm still alive. School was like always, a little more homework to do than last year, but it's easy. Last friday I skipped school, because I felt bad. At afternoon I felt more better, so in the evening I went to camp. It was a camp with a big group of teenagers. We slept very little, because we did many games in the woods. We also went to an outdoor center with assault courses and stuff like that, so now I am fatigued. But I had an amazing time with the other teenagers.

School Introduction

Today I was a little bored, so I decided to give an update about my "wonderful" life. So here it is: a brand new post! Yeah!! The past two days there happened enough and I would like to share that with you. So, here we go...

Yesterday at 10:30 I had my first lesson of the day. I was introduced to my new mentor. The hour after that we got information about our chosen profile (package of subjects). In my case it went on the profile C&M and it was very informative and funny :P. We were told what we are going to do this trimester, and guess what? We will learn photography, we will visit many museums and in april we will go on a camp to London for a week! About the camp we must do a presentation in English. Jeej. Okay, for if you do not notice, that was pure sarcasm. But London is a super awesome city. So I have nothing to complain about. After the explanation we did a 'game' which meant we were going to make a tableau vivant from a famous fairy tale. We chose for Cinderella, so I did my shoe off.

After this game, I went with my class to go canoeing. The intention was to go canoeing for three quarters to the other side and three quarters to canoe back, but thankfully we (read: me and a few others) were as smart to go back. Because when we were canoening it, began to rain cats and dogs. The rest of the clas continued canoeing, but we were so cold and wet, that we decided to go home. At home I stood, I think, half an hour under a hot shower before I felt a little warmth again.

After that we went with the whole class to the pizzeria. That was pretty fun. But the workers of the restaurant asked us very often whether the pizzas are tasty. They do not see often such a large group of people in their restaurant, I think. So far my description of yesterday.

Hold on tight, because now comes the description of today. Today was actually meant to go to the beach in Scheveningen, to go surfing and power kiting, but that was cancelled because it was too windy and raining. So, after one hour of waiting at school the teachers came up with an alternative: the cinema. Which was not open yet, but especially for us he would be open earlier. So we went to the Watch, a movie about aliens. I would not recommend it, I think. After the movie we were allowed to go home.

And that was the end of my friday and also of the first week of school. Now I'm going to enjoy my weekend. CU!

School has begun

It is a week ago since the last time I posted. Time for a new post so. This time it's about school. Yesterday began my school after a long summer.

I'm in class H4C and I do the profile C&M, for those who do not know what this means: this stands for Cultuur & Maatschappij (= Culture & Society), and that means I have the subjects history, geography, German, French , Dutch, English, gym, religion, social studies and mathematics. That's quite a list, but now I have fewer subjects as in the third grade. Last year I also had biology, chemistry, physics and economics. Anyway, my first school day started nice and quiet. It started at 10:30 in the auditorium.

Once in the auditorium they began with an introductory speech. After that everyone went with their mentor to a classroom to meet each other. My mentor for the next two years gives Dutch and she's very nice. After this meeting we were taught according to schedule. First I had German and then history. In the German class we are only with 8: 1 boy and 7 girls. That's nice and quiet, hihi. The benefit is that we can ask more explanation from the teacher. In history, we have a group of about 20 students so that's something else. So far my first day of school.

Today I started at 9.20 with mathematics. Then I had history, English and German and then day 2 was over.

So far my first two days at school after summer. Soon I will tell you more about my life at school. How is your school? Let me know below!
